Cooperative Education Program Assistant and Student Loans Collections Representative. And, with the WA Dept. of Social and Health Services/Children’s Services as Office Assistant Senior. I have also held positions in sales, and with school districts as school district liaison, co-track coach, and substitute teacher. Current and past volunteer involvements; school and community service boards, fundraising, classroom volunteer, church involvements, parent groups, community youth theatre, youth sports organizations, domestic violence advocate, and work-related committees.
Favorite Job: My current position allows me not only to work with great people who care about students, but to work with amazing students who are excited about the future.
Least Favorite Job: Asparagus canning plant. Cruel.
About Me: Born and raised in the Yakima Valley, I raised horses, participated in jr. rodeo and 4-H and was involved in various sports through school.
My husband Randy teaches English in the Yakima School District. Three children, Candice (WWU Class of 2002) – Candice’s baby Lucy is a scream!, Amanda (CWU Class of 2006 and EWU Masters Class of 2010), and Phillip (LMU – 2006 and USC masters class of 2008. We love to travel and have been fortunate to include in-country and international treks to visit our children, family and friends; most recently to Africa.
