Favorite thing about CWU:  The people!  Staff, faculty, students are great to work with!
Favorite thing to do outside of work:  Ride my bike(s). Long distance road riding, mountain biking or commuting to work. It's all good.
Favorite quote:  "Failure to some is not failure to all" Cuff the Duke.  If you haven't failed at anything, you haven't tried anything.  Not everyone will see your mistakes the same way you do.  We are usually hardest on ourselves.  I'd rather see people take risks to get the life they want than live in fear of what could be.

Education/Experience: Master of Arts degree in Higher Education Student Personnel from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida. At UCF, I was the Coordinator of Academic Advising for the College of Arts and Sciences. I was also a career counselor at Valencia Community College in Orlando and most recently at Mt. Rainier High School in Des Moines, WA. Certified to facilitate Dependable Strengths.
Favorite thing about CWU: I am especially interested in helping CWU students connect their education with careers and in promoting our students to Seattle area employers and the community.
Favorite thing to do outside of work: I enjoy vegan cooking, volunteering, and taking in all Seattle has to offer.

Education/Experience: PhD in Counseling from Oregon State University; MA in Guidance and Counseling from Loma Linda University; BS in Medical Technology from Pacific Union College; I have worked in a variety of career fields including medical technology, teaching math and science, farming, piano tuning, construction, high school counseling, teaching as an adjunct college professor, and career counseling. Certified to facilitate MBTI, Strong, and Dependable Strengths.
Favorite thing about CWU: I really enjoy the people I work with and believe strongly in the value of what I do.
Favorite thing to do outside of work: Hiking and cross-country skiing.

Education/Experience: Some college, as well as training and development classes through the UW and Central. I have worked in restaurants, several assisted senior living facilities, as a production scheduler in a shoe company, as a bartender/manager, a program-coordinator for 19 years at the University of Washington and over 10 years in my current position.
Favorite thing about CWU: My biggest joy of my current position is the service and interacting I do with our students, faculty, campus staff and employers!
Favorite thing to do outside of work: Spend time with my kids.

Education/Experience: Master of Science in Counseling Psychology, Central Washington University ; Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Central Washington University. I am a licensed mental health counselor in WA and have worked as a therapist and designated mental health professional (working with young kids was my favorite!). I have also worked as an online proofreading tutor for a Japanese company, and a freelance translator. Certified to facilitate MBTI, MBTI Step II, and Strong.
Favorite thing about CWU: I love the diversity CWU has (considering Ellensburg is a small town) and a lot of family-friendly activities!
Favorite thing to do outside of work: I love to cook, read, and spend time with my family.

Education/Experience: Early Childhood Development Certificate, 1996 EVCC w/ Honors. Over the course of 25+ years I have worked in a Baseball Card Shop, a Hair Salon, Pietro's Pizza Corporate Office, The Boeing Co., Renton Technical College, Edmonds School District and as a Home Child Care Provider before coming to CWU.
Favorite thing about CWU: The opportunities to meet a diverse range of students, alumni, staff and faculty throughout the different campuses.
Favorite thing to do outside of work: I love, love, love being outside and when the sun is shining it’s even better!

Doan Ha, Student Office Assistant

Education/Experience: Business Administration student at Central Washington University with a specialization in Human Resources and a minor in Economics. Working part time as well with Central Washington University as an Office Assistant at Career Services and a Call Center Representative in the Alumni Department.
Favorite thing about CWU:  My favorite thing about CWU is that it’s such a small community and you always have a mutual friend with anyone you meet. So it makes it a lot easier to talk and network with new people.
Favorite thing to do outside of work:  Writing in my journal or using my camera. I’m all about documenting the many special moments in life. If I’m not with my camera or journal, I love exploring downtown Ellensburg with my friends.

Kateri Mackey-Moseley, Student Office Assistant

Education/Experience: I am a senior studying to complete a degree in Public Relations with minors in Political Science and Interdisciplinary Studies through the William O. Douglas Honors College. I was a two-time Orientation Leader with New Student Programs and a three-time staff member for Wildcat Welcome Weekend. I have been fortunate enough to have worked as the Office Assistant for Career Services since fall of 2015.
Favorite thing about CWU:  My favorite thing about CWU is the relationships that students have the opportunity to build with faculty. Because we have smaller classes I have been able to create mentor/mentee relationships with my professors, which has helped me immensely.
Favorite thing to do outside of work: Outside of work I enjoy spending time with friends, family, and my boyfriend and dog. I also enjoy a good Netflix binge with my heated blanket and a nice snack.

Edwin Torres, Student Office Assistant

Education/Experience:Transferred from Fresno City College. Currently pursuing a B.S. in Biology with specialization in Ecology/Evolutionary Biology.
Favorite thing about CWU: The location is great! I love the outdoors, so the diversity of the area is something I really enjoy. The people are friendly and the campus resources are great!
Favorite thing to do outside of work: I like to go hiking or on road trips. When I am not adventuring, I like to binge watch Netflix without abandon.
