PACCAR Tour & Career Discussion

This event is open for up to 56 CWU students, free of charge. First priority will be given to students majoring in ITAM and/or Supply Chain Management.  Second priority will be given to students majoring in Computer Science or Engineering Technology.

Ride in the free vans from Ellensburg or meet us there.

Please note the following:

- This event is designed to help you learn how more about PACCAR, specifically how their IT division works and how their parts distribution system operates.
- The overall group size is limited to 56 students, up to 28 ITAM students and up to 28 Supply Chain Management students.  Wait-lists will be created after the maximum capacity is reached in either section.
- Free van transportation is available from the CWU-Ellensburg campus for up to 22 students total.  Register early to reserve your seat. 
- For Ellensburg students riding in the vans, pack a lunch.
- Dress respectably (business casual) since you are representing yourself and CWU.
- No T-shirts, ripped jeans, ratty shoes, hoodies, etc.  CWU-branded gear is OK. 
You do not need to bring a paper resume with you since PACCAR uses an online application process.  However, if you have a good, strong resume and you know you want to work or intern at PACCAR this year, feel free to bring it in case there is an opportunity for you to give it to one of the PACCAR representatives. 


Event Agenda

10:30 AM – (For Ellensburg students riding in the vans) – Meet at the wildcat statue on the east SURC patio.  The vans will depart at 10:40 AM.  We will stop mid-way for a bathroom break at Snoqualmie Pass. 
12:50 PM – Meet at the PACCAR ITD building (480 Hauser Way North) in Renton. 
1:00 PM – Welcome, introductions, company overview, group divides by academic majors to tour separate facilities, Q&A regarding PACCAR internship and career opportunities.
2:30 PM – Event ends – Vans depart and arrive in Ellensburg by 4 PM.
