What Is Career Counseling 

Students often view career counseling as a “one-stop” activity, instead of as a process. Students can also make the mistake of thinking that a career counselor can choose the “right” major/career for them. REQUEST APPOINTMENT

Individual counseling is available to enrolled students, by appointment or on a walk-in basis. A career counselor can assist in the following areas:
  • Selecting a major or graduate program  
  • Personal career inventories
  • On-line assessments
  • Resumes and cover letters
  • Interviewing skills and preparation
  • Successful internship and job search strategies
  • Graduate school process and application
  • Employer research
  • Career direction and career transition
  • Alumni mentoring
  • Informational interviews
  • Individual Studies Major

Individual counseling is available to enrolled students as well as Alumni by appointment or on a walk-in basis.

Experienced counselors are available Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m - 5:00 p.m. via Zoom. Book an appointment.
