Our Freedom,” on loan from the Washington State Office of the Secretary of State. In addition to the traveling exhibit there will be tours of the Mill and scavenger hunts for kids and adults. Light hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be provided for all.

Purchase an event package for $12 and receive a ticket for a glass of wine and a $5 off coupon for a one year membership to Thorp Mill. This event package is free for Veterans.

This special exhibit has been organized, acquired and displayed by CWU History students who are gaining experience in museum studies at the Thorp Mill this summer by giving tours, designing and implementing interpretive displays, and researching historical information on the Kittitas Valley. They will be on hand to answer questions at this special evening event. The traveling WWII Veterans Exhibit will remain on display through the end of August during regular summer open hours at the Thorp Mill from 11 AM – 4 PM, Friday-Sunday.
