Join us on Saturday, May 25 at the Kittitas Valley Events Center at the county fairgrounds in Ellensburg for a celebration of our local heritage. Built in 1883, the Thorp Mill was a hub of early industry in Kittitas County and now serves as an interpretive site, museum and educational resource open to the public. The Thorp Mill Historical Society maintains a close collaborative partnership with Central Washington University through student internships, research projects and class projects.

The Thorp Mill dinner and auction event is coordinated by CWU students, and proceeds from the dinner and auction help to support CWU student internships and research projects at the mill, as well as maintenance of the historic site. The historic interpretive site at 11642 North Thorp Hwy, ~1 mile west of the town of Thorp, is open Friday-Sunday from June-September and is staffed by CWU students, who give tours to visitors.

Dinner/Auction tickets are $45. Purchase tickets online at, at Kittitas Valley Chamber of Commerce or Cle Elum Bakery, or from a Thorp Mill Board member.

We encourage the CWU community to participate in this annual tradition!
