Replicate Your MS Teams

Notice Type:
Event Date:
Thu, 07/09/2020

Are you using Microsoft Teams for your classes or your projects?

Did you know you can replicate a Team structure that has worked well for the class you just taught or the project you just completed?

Replicating an existing Team structure will reduce the amount of time to build a new Team. Creating a Team from an existing Team gives you full control over what is replicated as you choose what to include*, and ensures that every channel**, tab, setting, and app will be exactly where it was in the original Team. Fast and simple!

* Messages, files, and content are not copied to the new Team
** Private channels are not included
*** Tabs will need to be reconnected

Check out this SharePoint Maven blog post to see how it's done: How to Replicate a Team Based on the Existing Team
