EAP Client Bulletin

Across the nation, we are collectively reeling from shock and sadness in the wake of the horrendous mass shootings this week. These tragedies often have a ripple effect that heighten anxiety, fear, depression, loss, and past trauma. And for those with loved ones lost in these events, the impact is exponential.

You don't need to weather this alone. Your EAP is here to support you through these and other life challenges. You can talk to a counselor 24/7 at 800-777-4114, and arrange for in-person, telephone, or video counseling sessions through this line as well.

The EAP website at offers many articles on how to cope with a traumatic event, talk with children about violence, and the effects of trauma. You can also find links on active shooter response guidelines.

We are here for you, so please reach out if we can help.

Warm regards,
First Choice Health EAP
