The Central Washington University Board of Trustees (BOT) will hold its annual planning retreat July 18 and 19 at Suncadia Lodge in Cle Elum.
On Thursday, panelists familiar with both state and higher education issues will discuss the landscape of higher education. In addition to the BOT, guests will include CWU deans, other administrators, and members of the President’s Advisory Board.
On Friday, at 8 a.m., the board will meet in a closed executive session to discuss a personnel issue. The business meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the Lodge at Suncadia’s Owens Ballroom, Room B, and will include a public comment period, during which each speaker will be limited to three minutes.
Those wanting to address the board must sign up via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org, in which they must identify themselves and the topic to be discussed. The sign up deadline is Tuesday, July 16, at 5:00 p.m. Rules pertaining to the public comment period are available at www.cwu.edu/trustees.
