The CWU Brass Choir and the CWU Trombone Choir will share the stage for their fall quarter performances on Thursday, November 21, at 7:00 pm in the Concert Hall of the Jerilyn McIntyre Music Building.
Led by Dr. Jeffrey Snedeker, the CWU Brass Choir will perform standard works for trumpets, horns, trombones, euphoniums, and tubas, from the Renaissance, Baroque, and Modern periods. Giovanni Gabrieli, Henry Purcell, Vaclav Nelhybel, Jim Parker, and Chris Hazell will be featured composers in music of classical and jazz/pop styles.
Led by Dr. John Neurohr, the CWU Trombone Choir will featured large works arranged for trombones, including compositions by Henry Fillmore and Carl Maria von Weber.
