United Farm Workers co-founder Cesar Chavez dedicated his life to bringing equality and justice to farm workers. In honor of his birthday, there will be a free screening of the film “Cesar’s Last Fast” Wednesday, April 23 at 7 p.m. in Black Hall 152.
The documentary about Chavez’s 26-day fast in 1988 features never before seen footage. Cesar’s struggle is a powerful message that encourages everyone to continue the fight against the inequalities still seen today.
