Central Washington Justice for Our Neighbors (CWJFON) Immigration Attorney will host office hours to provide support for students.  Maxwell Olarsch will be in the Diversity and Equity Center in Black Hall 101 on February 14 and February 28 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Students who would like to make an appointment with Maxwell may call (509) 300-1101.  Below is information on the legal services that CWJFON provides.  You can visit CWJFON's website to obtain additional information at www.cwjfon.org. Central Washington Justice for Our Neighbors (CWJFON) is a non-profit organization that offers free legal advice and representation to individuals and families that can't afford a private attorney. CWJFON makes this determination of providing services by using the yearly-issued Federal Poverty Guidelines. CWJFON can only provide support to those whose household incomes are at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. CWJFON provides immigration legal services for the following topics/areas of immigration law:

  • Removal Defense
  • DACA 
  • Survivors of domestic violence and other crimes
  • Family-based petitions for status
  • Asylum
  • Crimmigration (provide advice on the ramifications of criminal charges on their current or potential immigration status) 
  • Citizenship
  • Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (obtaining status for individuals under 21 who have been abused, abandoned, or neglected by one or both of their parents)
