Budget Summit Save the Date

To promote transparency in University budgeting, the Budget Allocation Sub-Committee (BASC) hosts budget summits each year.  These summits are open forums and members of the university are encouraged to attend.  This year’s  Budget Summit will consist of two parts:

• A high-level budget overview will be presented by each leader of the academic colleges and university divisions, and

• Budget Allocation Request sessions for those units requesting increases in funding for fiscal year 2020.

Important Dates for this process:

January 16: Division Heads report out to the Office of the Associate Provosts (AP) a list of units within the division with allocation requests

January 28:
• All Budget Summit Presentations PowerPoints are due to AP office
• All Allocation Requests forms are due to AP office
• Budget Reports from all units are due to AP office

January 30: All Budget Summit materials are posted to the BASC Website

February 4 & 5: College and VP Budget Summits

February 7, 8, 11, 12, & 13:  Unit Budget Allocation Request sessions as necessary. 

February 22: Recommendations finalized and submitted to President’s Budget Advisory Committee (PBAC)

February 26: PBAC begins review of BACS recommendations
