Making applying easy

Applying to Central Washington University

To be accepted into the College of Business you first have to be accepted into Central Washington University. Running start transfer students will still apply as a first year student.

Applying to the College of Business

Students may be eligible to transfer directly into the College of Business when you first enroll. If you transfer to CWU with all of the following requirements, you are eligible to apply for admission into the College of Business.

    • At least 30 quarter credits with a Collegiate GPA of 2.25 or higher (this is your combined CWU/transfer GPA)

    • ENG 101 and 102 (with grade of C- or higher)

    • Good academic standing the quarter prior to admission

    • Students who are applying for the online program will need to meet additional admission requirements

If you don't meet these standards at this time that's okay! You are able to declare as a pre-major and start working towards the classes you need.

Determine if your courses will transfer

The transfer equivalency site (TES) can help you better understand how your courses will transfer to CWU.

If you are currently pursuing a degree at a Washington community college, we recommend the Associates in Business MRP/DTA. This goes by different names at different schools, if you need assistance in verifying you are enrolled in a transferable program, please email us with the school you are attending and we would be happy to check for you.

If you would like an unofficial evaluation of your transfer credit and how it may apply to a College of Business program, please send copies of your unofficial transcripts for all colleges and universities attended to
