Finance: Growing Money. The image appears to be in front of a wall depitcting the stock market. There are four different hands raising there hands.

Finance builds on the business core and focuses on decision making in three interrelated areas: managerial finance, investments, and financial markets and institutions. Finance is a broad field that primarily studies the acquisition and management of funds by businesses, governments, and individuals. Our finance curriculum provides the theoretical foundations and analytical skills to understand corporate financing and investing decisions, financial markets, security valuation, portfolio management, and financial planning.

Central Experience

"The College of Business provided the opportunity for me to identify professors, faculty, and professionals to serve as mentors. Through these mentors, I received advice about job negotiation, position selection, and navigating the first year post-graduation. I also participated in multiple case competitions, such as The Boeing Case Competition. I strongly believe these case competitions allowed me to stand out from other applicants and secure a Boeing internship my junior year at CWU."
