Andrew Zuccotti is currently a partner at Preston Gates Ellis, LLP in Seattle. Prior to this, he was an attorney for Stoel Rives, L.L.P. and practiced primarily in the areas of federal income tax planning for business transactions and mergers. His experience includes a full range of corporate and tax issues, including real estate syndications, leveraged buy-outs, purchase and sale of businesses, and structuring and drafting joint ventures. Mr. Zuccotti also works on the federal income tax aspects of multinational business transactions.
He graduated from Georgetown University with an A.B. in 1967; Georgetown University Law School with a J.D. in 1970; and, New York University Law School with an LL.M. in Taxation in 1972. He was admitted to the District of Columbia Bar in 1971, the New York Bar in 1973, and the Washington Bar in 1978.
Mr. Zuccotti was selected by his professional peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America (8th ed. 1999-2000). He is presently an Adjunct Professor in the Graduate Taxation Program at the University of Washington, School of Law.
He is currently a member of the Endowment Committee for the Museum of Flight in Seattle. Mr. Zuccotti joined the CWU College of Business Advisory Board in March 1997.
