Remembrance: A BFA Senior Exhibition by Steve Gage Jr.

The Remembrance exhibition is a personal reflection on childhood memories and past moments with family members that are inspired by old photographs and locations around the Kittitas Valley.

Longtime Ellensburg resident Steve Gage Jr. will present narrative oil paintings on canvas that depict everyday moments with people that become lasting memories. Gage states, “By reflecting on my own past I hope to allow the viewer to bring their own background to the work through similar experiences and provide an entertaining view of growing up in the Kittitas Valley.”

An opening reception for Remembrance will be held Tuesday, April 30 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in Gallery 231 in Randall Hall at Central Washington University. The exhibit will be open 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 30 to Friday, May 3.

Randall Hall is located at 44444 E Dean Nicholson Blvd, in Ellensburg. Parking is free in university lots after 4:30 p.m. and on weekends, except in specially marked spaces and residence hall lots.
