Welcome to 2021, Wildcats! We look forward to this fresh start and the opportunity to see many of you at alumni events, both virtually and in person, throughout the year.

The first alumni event of 2021 is happening next week! Join us for the next webinar in our series titled DISCovering Who You Are as a Leader, which will focus on how your leadership style affects the way you communicate. This webinar will take place on January 13, featuring Innovations in Leadership President Mike Newman (‘81). Register today at and view the webinar resources prior to the start of the discussion.

We know that the last year has been hard on many businesses, so if you are an alum that owns or operates a business, we want to feature you! Please fill out our questionnaire and submit a photo and we may help promote your business to the Wildcat family. Thank you to those who have already submitted responses, and we look forward to hearing from more of you. For more Wildcat business resources, please visit

If you aren’t a business owner but want to share your personal story with Wildcats, fill out our social media questionnaire and we will feature you on our alumni association social media pages. We love keeping up with Wildcats once they graduate and go out into the world, so we look forward to hearing from you!

We hope you will consider supporting 2021 graduates by providing financial assistance that makes their dream of walking in commencement come true. A gift of $100 will provide a student with their cap and gown, along with a one-year membership to the CWU Alumni Association. If you know a student that is graduating this spring that could use assistance, encourage them to apply today. Applications for 2021 graduates close at the end of this month.

We hope you had a great holiday season and wish you all the best in 2021. Go Cats!
