Hello, Wildcats! We hope you are all doing well and have got the chance to enjoy some sunshine, wherever you may be!
We have had a busy past couple of weeks and want to make sure that you have the chance to catch up on anything you may have missed.
Last month we hosted the 2021 Virtual Distinguished Alumni Awards where we honored Wildcats for their personal accomplishments, professional achievements, community service involvement, and/or contributions made to CWU. If you missed the ceremony, stream it now on our YouTube channel and join us in congratulating the 2021 recipients.
Our fifth annual day of giving #GiveCentral took place a week ago and we want to give our sincere thanks to each of you that participated. The Wildcat family came together during the 24-hour day of giving and your generosity will have an impact on generations of Wildcats to come.
And finally, we are happy to inform you that all CWU Wine Club orders have been packaged and sent out this week! Thank you to all of the Wildcats who are supporting an alumni-owned winery while also supporting CWU Alumni Association programs. We look forward to you receiving and trying your new wine, and be sure to tag us on social media when you receive your shipment! If you want to sign up for the next shipment, please visit cwuwineclub.com.

The next webinar in our series will take place on May 19 and feature several alumni who now work in the world of professional sports. Join Associated Press sports writer Tim Booth (’00) as he interviews Seattle Mariners senior manager of group sales for the Seattle Mariners Liz McCloskey (’04) and Seattle Seahawks director of professional personnel Nolan Teasley (‘07). This webinar is free and you can register today at cwu.edu/alumni/webinars.
We are still seeking Wildcats who are interested in planning and coordinating CWU engagement in their communities by becoming a Wildcat Regional Leader. If you’re interested, please email Ashley Gillum at Ashley.Gillum@cwu.edu to get more information about our Regional Leader Program.
