Celebrate CWU Traditions at the 2018 Ring and Medallion Ceremony

The ASCWU Student Government, CWU Alumni Association, Wildcat Shop, and Traditions Keepers are hosting the 2018 Ring and Medallion Ceremony on May 11, in the SURC Ballroom.

The ceremony, which begins at 4:00 p.m., will celebrate class ring and Traditions Keeper medallion recipients. Students, their parents, family members, alumni, and CWU employees are encouraged to attend.

“The Ring and Medallion Ceremony represents a tangible connection linking past, present, and future generations of Wildcats around the globe,” said Bob Ford, senior director of alumni and constituent relations.

Designed and selected by CWU students, the class ring reflects the history and traditions of the university. Wearing the ring symbolizes CWU pride and student achievements.

“Whether you’ve demonstrated your Central pride by ordering a class ring or achieved 72 of 91 traditions to earn your medallion, or both, this ceremony brings together and celebrates our most dedicated Wildcats,” said Laura Sanchez, alumni relations coordinator.

The event is free and fully hosted. Professional attire is recommended.
