Arthur Manjarrez

Academic Advisor, Professional Advising

Arthur Manjarrez advises for the Law and Justice major, Political Science major and the Sociology and Social Services majors within the College of the Sciences. Students who are interested in one of these majors are welcome to make an appointment to meet with him.

Arthur obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, a minor in Ethnic Studies and a Master’s of Science degree in Experimental Psychology from Central Washington University. Arthur’s employment includes: Supplemental Instruction Program, TRiO Student Support Services, College Assistance Migrant Program, and currently, the Academic Advising Center as a Professional Counselor. Arthur is also a lecturer for the Ethnic Studies program. 

Arthur is a member of CWU’s Inclusivity/Diversity Committee and participates in extra-curricular activities advising the First-Generation Student Organization within the Equity and Service Council program. Arthur also accompanies students on advocacy trips to Washington D.C. and various ethnic awareness, diversity and leadership conferences.

Arthur received the following CWU awards: 2018 "Most Inspirational Staff" Award recipient.
2017 Diversity Award recipient. Keys to Success award 2011-2012, Most Inspirational Staff award 2010-2011, TRiO Achievers award 2007-2008, Mosaic award 2004-2005, Presidential Leadership award 2002-2003, and Alumni Association 2002 award.
