Net Price Calculator

What is the Net Price Calculator?

The Net Price Calculator provides an estimate of what a new undergraduate student can expect to pay to attend CWU and what types and amounts of financial aid may be expected. This estimate is calculated according to answers you give on specific questions, and is therefore only as accurate as the information you provide. Results may not be accurate for students who have special circumstances, or whose family situation changes. It is an estimate only, and you must apply for financial aid through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to receive an actual aid package. It is not intended for use by graduate or post baccalaureate students, who should contact the Financial Aid Office for more information.

Completing this calculator should take about 15 minutes and you will need the following information:

  1. Most recent student and parental income tax return and W2 forms.
  2. Optional: student’s academic statistics such as GPA, SAT and ACT test scores.

Note: For the most accurate estimate, it is recommended that you use your actual Expected Family Contribution (EFC) figure from your Student Aid Report, if you have already applied for financial aid at www.fafsa.ed.gov . If you have not yet applied, you can find your estimated EFC at http://studentaid.ed.gov/fafsa/estimate.

By clicking below, I acknowledge that the estimate provided using this calculator does not represent an official application for financial aid, a final determination, or actual award of financial assistance, or a final net price. It is an estimate reflecting the average price of attendance and financial aid provided to students in a previous year. The price of attendance and financial aid availability change from year to year. The estimates shall not be binding on the Secretary of Education, the institution of higher education, or the State. Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to be eligible for, and receive, an actual financial aid award that includes federal grant, loan, or work-study assistance. For more information on applying for federal student aid, go to www.fafsa.ed.gov.

By cross-referencing your responses with students who attended Central Washington University previously, we will use an estimated Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of to calculate your estimated award package. The "estimated EFC" can be overridden below. A more accurate "estimated EFC" can be generated using the Federal EFC Calculator.
