This is a website with various programs that are on the History
Channel, which is a great resource for learning about various events,
especially now that not every program is about Hitler.
Library of America
This website is more of a personal favorite, though it does touch
on history because it has novels, writings, short stories and
reportings done by Americans throughout American history: authors
included are Herman Melville, Harriet Beecher Stowe, etc.
CIA Great site for various census and other facts about countries around the world
PBS
History That wonderful television channel that has all sorts of
educational value also has a history part of their website including
documnetaries and documents or activities to do pertaining to history.

History Sites This is more of a link to other great sites about
history from the beginning of time (however you define it) to present.
Library of Congress Very helpful for research which is a very important part of the history process.
BBC History It's BBC and it is History what more could you ask for!
Digitial History A very helpful website for documents, primary documents, materials for teachers and multimedia.
World
War I Document Archive Has a variety of World War I documents
throughout that can be found based upon the subject that is being
looked for.
OSPI Great website for teachers and parents on
standards and practices dealing with teachers as well as facts that
about districts, maps, hierarchies, etc.
