Web Development : Style Sheet Classes |
Style Sheet DefinitionA style sheet is a set of formatting (style) commands that are kept separate from the actual content being formatted. This makes formatting easier as it can be defined globally rather than each time a particular element occurs. To put it another way, the Web office has created a style sheet that all of your Web pages point to. This document has a number of predefined "styles." An example would be the teal heading above that says "Style Sheet Definition." I used a "class" to make this heading teal and bolded. How to Use the CWU Style SheetSince many people learn by example, we have created a Style Sheet Class Listing page that lists the classes available for certain HTML tags. |
