News:Will continues his internship with Shakespeare Theatre Company, Washington, DC after a very succesful fall quarter with the company. He was one of eight college costume designers invited to the Kennedy Center for the American College Theatre National Festival (February 2005) for his work on the department's fall production of "Lloyd's Prayer." His experience at ACTF Nationals was instumental in securing the year-long internship. He has recently been assigned the costume design for the Shakespeare Theatre Company's upcoming production of "The Tempest"

News:Tamara Burnett, MA Theatre Production, got a job teaching Drama and Music at Franklin High School in Seattle. Burnett reports: "I started in November at the beginning of 2nd quarter, which was extremely challenging :):) However, I finally seem to be settling in and I'm thinking about next year."

News:While still a working actress, Ms. DiMartino now holds the position of Director of Education for Long Wharf Theatre where she is in charge of all educational programming and oversees the Next Stage Resident/Intern Program. As a private acting instructor, Ms. DiMartino has students who have gone on to land roles on Broadway, and work in film and television. DiMArtino reports: 'In addition to running the education department at Long Wharf Theatre and the Next Stage Program, I am a company member of ArtFarm, which produces outdoor Shakespeare in the summer. I am still writing (just completed a musical which will be workshopped this May) and I am dabbling at Directing. I started a youth ensemble called Shake-it-Up Shakespeare (think Shakespeare meets Glee) which produces rock musical versions of his classics. And I am currently the music director for an upcoming production of Mac Wellman’s Theatre for Young Audiences musical called tigertigertiger. Needless to say, I am busy and LOVING every minute of it!"

News:2010 Theatre Arts graduate Alli Doyle holds the senior staff position of Box Office Manager at the three stage company Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theatre - the only equity theatre on Cape Cod. She spent the fall as the company's only intern, specifically working as Assistant Stage Manager and Wardrobe chief for two world premiers, one produced in house, and the other from New York through Broadway producer Jed Bernstein. Doyle accepted the position of Box Office Manager in January. She will manage multiple Box Offices through the summer, working with the company to produce and market a minimum of 11 productions.

News:Shotwell will be working all summer at ArtsWest as the Conservatory Coordinator as well as doing the Makeup Design for their Conservatory production of ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW (AUG 2011).

News:Shotwell was recently cast in Seattle-based ACT's "Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-long Blog" in the role of Dawn Summers, the weather girl (a role added and written for Shotwell) The production will run Jan 28-Feb 12. Information on the show can be found at www.acttheatre.org

News:After an exciting and extended run with ArtsWest Theatre earlier this year, Shotwell as accepted an invitation to revive her role as "Shelly" in EVIL DEAD, which will be remounted later in 2011.

News:Alli Doyle graduated from Central Washington University's theatre department in June of 2010. She quickly moved to Wellfleet Massachusetts to pursue an internship at Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theatre (WHAT), a three stage equity company on Cape Cod. Alli completed her internship in December and was offered a full-time senior staff position with the company. She is now working as WHAT's Box Office Manager and Marketing Associate. She thanks Leslee Caul for providing her with the tools she needed to succeed in this new position.

News:2010 BFA Performance graduate, Andrew Shanks, was selected to perform the leading role the in premiere reading of Coho Theatre's award winning se;ectopm, Immaterial Matters, directed by Brenda Hubbard, Head of Performance. Immaterial Matters is written by Steve Patterson,a nationally renown playwright, who resides in Portland. His play was the 2011 winner of the Coho Theatre Northwest Playwrighting Contest. The performance will take place on Jan .23 and 24 at 7:30 PM as part of Portland's Fertile Ground New Work Festival and will be held at Coho Theatre in Portland, Oregon.

News:Alli Doyle is a graduate of Central Washington University, where she earned a degree in Theatre Arts. She currently works at Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theatre (WHAT) in Wellfleet, Massachusetts as an Assistant Stage Manager and Theatre Technician. Alli is currently the ASM on the world premier of James B. Murphy's 'Promise' - directed by John Tillinger. She plans to continue working at WHAT through the 2011 summer season. Alli loves her job.

News:Christina is currently the Admin for the University of Alaska Fairbanks' Theatre Dept. Her latest production was "Vinegar Tom" at UAF as "Margery" (Spring '10). She also owns her own Theatre company "Naked Stage Productions" in Fairbanks, Alaska. Naked Stage has produced 2 Burlesque shows and the Rocky Horror Picture Show thus far with great success! This summer brings work in Alaska Tourism. Christina is also contracted through the government as an Acting Instructor on Fort Wainwright Army Base for youth services programs. She will be directing Rocky Horror this Fall. She thinks of CWU often and misses her fellow students and the wonderful faculty that prepared her for where she is today! Thank you!
