News:Brown appeared as Jacob with Madison Martin (Mary) in Dogtown Theatre's production of "Salt-Water Moon" by Canadian playwright David French. Brown is a Junior in the BFA Performance program at CWU. DogTown Theatre Company is Ellensburg's professional, non-profit theatre company who produce a broad range of theatrical presentations that fire the imagination, uplift the spirit, and engage our community.

News:‎Drew Carter has accepted a position as Technical Manager at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, Performing Arts Center http://pac.tamucc.edu/: ‘This world-class acoustically-superb Concert Hall has pushed Corpus Christi to the forefront of cultural arts and entertainment in South Texas and features a 1500-seat Concert Hall with state-of-art acoustics, a striking 50-foot glass-walled lobby that faces Ocean Drive offering a beautiful 360-degree view of the Corpus Christi bay and the downtown skyline, and a versatile Greenroom for more intimate gatherings and receptions.’ Carter is a 2012 graduate of the CWU Design and Production specialization in the BFA program.

News:Brian Popielarczyk has recently begun his appointment at the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts in Santa Maria, California as a Master Electrician/ Assistant Lighting Design Professional Intern. His assignment includes two productions, "The Tempest" and "Fiddler on the Roof," in various lighting production and design capacities. Popielarczyk describes the opportunity as an excellent challenge, and is looking forward to continuing to work with the production team at PCPA. News:Samantha Armitage--Costume Designer--will return to Second Story Repertory's THEATER FOR YOUNG AUDIENCES as designer for PUSS AND BOOTS, which runs January 11-27, 2013. She latest design, ANNIE, at Renton Civic Theatre, closes this weekend. Armitage is a CWU 2008 Design and Technology graduate who went on to complete her MFA in theatre costume design at Arizona State University.

News:Cole Cook ’08 CWU performance graduate, currently pursuing an MFA at the University of Idaho, has be selected to serve as Catherine Fitzmaurice’s personal student intern in the Los Angeles Teacher Training Program over the next two years.
