| News: | Jeff is a senior and double major in CAH-- Graphic Design and Theatre Arts. He is also the graphic design employee in the Theatre Arts Marketing office. Carpenter represents our region at the national festival critic's institute after participating on the regional level as a critic reviewing four plays presented at the regional festival held in Reno. He was one of 13 competitors that vied for the position and the trip to Washington DC this week. Critic's is one of nine areas in Theatre which selects only one student from each of the eight regions to participate nationally. Carpenter continues as long tradition of CWU students attending the national festival. This is the ninth consecutive year a CWU student has earned an invitation. |

| News: | Scott performed in the Garage Theatre's recent production of THE BALD SOPRANO. This follows a successful production in the title role of BILLY BISHOP GOES TO WAR also with GTG. Garage Theatre Group productions are staged at the Becton Theatre; Madison, NJ.
The Garage Theatre Group seeks to challenge as well as entertai, reflecting the belief that theatre is an open dialogue between the playwright, the performer, and the audience. At the conclusion of each Main Stage performance, a discussion with the cast, director, and audience is held. By doing so, they hope to inspire and create a new generation of artists, theatregoers, and patrons.
