News:Photography student Laurel Ebenal won 1st prize of $10,000 for her digital photograph, "Faun" through VSA arts. The photo will be on display in the S. Dillon Ripley Center in Washington DC from mid-September through Mid-November in the "Driven" Exhibition co-sponsored by Volkeswagen of America, Inc. News:Matt Winkelmann will be showing his work at the Sarah Spurgeon Gallery from May 23-June 9, 2007. "Van Winkelmann Labs: Testing the Untestable for Thirty-Six Years" is a culmination of his work toward his degree in a master of fine arts. His work is inspired by Dada artists from the turn of the 20th century and old science fiction movies. News:Professor Maya Chachava’s artwork has been selected by juror, Jonathan Greene, for the Winter Edition of Studio Visit Magazine. Over 1900 individuals entered the competition and Maya is one of 290 artists who have been invited by Mr. Greene to participate. Scheduled to be released in late 2012, Studio Visit will be received by a total of 2000 galleries, museum curators, and art aficionados throughout the country.
