News:Karen has published her seventh book. Titled "Joining In: Exploring the History of Voluntary Organizations in America," it is part of the "Nearby History Series," founded at the American Association for State and Local History and produced by Krieger Publishers, of Melbourne, Fla. It allows researchers to investigate societies they belong to or those their ancestors joined. Ellensburg and Kittitas County history are also featured in Blair's new work, through photos taken by John Holmgrin, a CWU art graduate. They include service clubs' signage at the I-90 exchange, the Friday Morning Club clock in downtown Ellensburg, Roslyn cemetery, IOOF halls in Ellensburg and Cle Elum, and the bull sculpture in Ellensburg's Rotary Pavilion.

News:Andrew Kaufman & Donna Stack will exhibit their work in "Coupled" open from June 1 to July 1, 2006. The opening reception will be on June 1, 2006 from 5-8pm. The hours will be from 12-5pm Fridays and Saturdays, or by appointment. "Coupled" will be shown at Shift Collaborative Studio (Tashiro-Kaplan Building) 306 S. News:Donna Stack will be opening a multi-media exhibition called [should't throw stones]. It will be located at 301A Puyallup Avenue Tacoma, Wa 98421 at the ice box. There is a thrid Thursday opening reception on June 15, 2006 from 7-9pm. Her exhibition runs from June 13-July 14, 2006.
