The schoolteacher, the parking lot attendant, the waitress, the millworker, the mason, the trucker, the fireman, and the housewife are among the many characters who offer a unique look at the American landscape as told by the men and woman who punch a time clock every day. Based on Studs Terkel's best-selling book of interviews with American workers, and featuring the music of James Taylor, the play will surprise and inspire with a vivid portrait of the hopes, dreams, joys and concerns of "common" men and women who work to earn a living.

Produced by special arrangement with Music Theatre International.

Most enjoyable for mature audiences; adult situations and themes; parental guidance recommended for children under 13.
