CTE takes a unique look at this classic comedy by setting the action
in the roaring 1920s era in the southern U.S. With the lighter moments
full of playfulness, the intrigue of the young lovers will also
explore the darker side of privilege and examine the themes of wealth
and masculine entitlement. The production promises to provide a
colorful, stylish and amusing new look at this Shakespeare favorite,
while exploring the more disturbing side of these two gent’s behavior.
Intended for mature audiences
