The Central Theatre Ensemble, the production wing of the Theatre Art Department, produces several productions each season. Under the venue called Center Stage, which includes classic and well-known plays and musicals, and a venue called Off-Center, which includes more experimental fare and original plays. One of the Center Stage productions includes a Youth Theatre Touring production that travels throughout the Northwest.

CWU students can take advantage of a variety of opportunities through the annual production schedule. The classes get you ready and the productions allow you to practice before an audience.If you work and prepare, performance and production opportunities will be available to you. All students may audition (theatre majors are required to) and everyone may participate!

Tickets can be purchased online or at the Theatre Box Office one hour prior to each performance.

Senior citizens are those persons 65 and older. Student ID is required for student pricing. For the enjoyment of all our patrons, cell phones, pagers and babes in arms are not permitted in the theatre.
