| ANNALISE CHILDRESS (Guest Choreographer and Lecturer)
is a native of Ellensburg who has served as a director, choreographer,
actor and dancer at high schools, colleges, community and regional
theatres throughout the country. Childress began her formal training
early under the direction of Christine Zeigler and later continued
at Cornish College of the Arts, and was a member of the Gus Giordano
Jazz Dance company of Chicago. She was an ensemble member in The
5th Avenue Theatre productions of Singin' in the Rain and
The Wizard of Oz. Childress was seen most recently on the
CTE stage as Lady Macbeth and wowed local audiences as Meg Brockie
in the Valley Musical Theatre production of Brigadoon.
She has choreographed several CTE productions including Man
of La Mancha, West Side Story and, most recently, Working.
This season Childress is teaching the new Stage Dance course
and will be guest choreographer for the CTE world premiere of Blankity-Blank!
