| DAVID M. BROWN ( Musical Director) earned both his
Bachelors and Masters of Music in Trumpet Performance from Central
Washington University, where he was also a member of the Faculty
Brass Quintet. Brown has played lead trumpet with the Harry James
Orchestra, several regional symphonies, and has conducted a number
of musical theatre productions at universities and colleges throughout
the country. His most recent conducting and musical directorships
have been for Owens Community College and Bowling Green State University
in Ohio. While earning his degrees at CWU, he served as musical
director, conductor and lead keyboardist for several CTE productions
including Man of La Mancha, Oh Coward!, and Little
Shop of Horrors. His past experience also includes touring
and recording for more than ten years with several international
rock groups including such bands as "The Sonics," "Burgundy
Express" and "Jimmy Le Favour," and was a studio
musician, recording artist and musical director for Nirvana Productions
in Los Angeles. He is currently the Director of Music for Edgewater
Records in Atlanta, where he continues his professional work. This
season Brown will provide musical direction for the world premiere
of Blankity-Blank! and serve as production manager for
the CTE season.
