SYMPOSIUM WITHOUT BOUNDARIES 2008/09
The Symposium Group, Central Washington University, 2008/09
Central's interdivisional partnership, the Symposium Group, is continuing the speaker series started in 2008 featuring such internationally-acclaimed public figures like SALMAN RUSHDIE, CORNEL WEST, and WANGARI MAATHAI. We continue the tradition with award winning author, poet and filmmaker, SHERMAN ALEXIE and Pulitzer Prize winning reporter and New York Times Op-Ed Columnist, NICHOLAS KRISTOFF. The series is designed to increase the extent to which the University community is involved and benefits from co-curricular programming on campus. We collectively engage the most critical and transformative ideas of our times. The Symposium events are free and open to the public. For more information about group or the series please click here.
