What is Wildcat Access?

Wildcat Access is a powerful on-campus advertising tool. Local businesses, organizations, clubs and campus departments are invited to post images or video on digital monitors located around Central Washington University's Student Union and Recreation Center (SURC).

Here are a few facts about the system:

• Wildcat Access runs on five, 42-inch plasma screen monitors strategically located around the SURC and visible to several thousand students, faculty, staff, and visitors each day.
• People are visually attracted to dynamic, attractive advertising. This makes Wildcat Access and effective alternative to traditional on-campus advertising such as print and radio.
• Advertisments run 12-15 seconds at a time, 7-10 times or more per hour. Ads can run up to 200 times per day.
• High visibility, full-color changing displays, and reasonable pricing makes Wildcat Access the best way to get noticed on the CWU campus!

Wildcat Access monitors are visible to the thousands of people visiting the Student Union and Recreation Center every day. The SURC houses a variety of services: a marketplace with various resaurants and shops, the university bookstore, meeting and conference rooms, entertainment venues, a recreation and fitness center, and many other student services. Students and staff often relax, socialize, or work in the lounges. Wildcat Access screens are located in the following areas:

• First floor dining marketplace (3)
• First floor lounge (1)
• Second floor lounge (1)

When will my advertisement/message be playing?

Wildcat Access advertising runs continually during the SURC's hours of operation. The following are the regular building hours during the school year:

• Weekdays:   6:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.
• Saturday:     10:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
• Sunday:       12:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
  
  Regular summer building hours:
• Mon-Thurs:  6:00 a.m. - 8 p.m.
• Friday:           6:00 a.m. - 6 p.m.
• Saturday:      8:00 a.m. - 6 p.m.
• Sunday:        10: 00 a.m. - 8 p.m.
  
  Advertisments are usually posted for 12-15 seconds and play between 7-10 times per hour or more.
