Campus LifeThe mission of the Campus Life unit is to enrich students' experiences outside the classroom by providing social, cultural, recreational, and educationally diverse programs, services and apprenticeships.


Center for Excellence in Leadership (CEL)

Center for Excellence in LeadershipFunctions as a professional development program for students. The programs are designed to (1) enhance CWU student leadership skills (2) increase students' involvement in University life and (3) prepare students to be caring and involved citizens within their respective communities after graduation.


Club Accounting

The Club Accounting office is located in room 263A in the New Student Union Building on the Central Washington University campus. The Club Accounting office provides accounting services and support to all CWU student clubs and organizations.

Dining ServicesDining Services mission is to provide exceptional dining services to the students, staff and guests of the University. Our program emphasizes the importance of Nutrition as the foundation for a healthy lifestyle and offers an environment which nurtures the continued intellectual, social and ethical growth of each customer. Our goal is to provide a responsive food service program that offers outstanding menus, service and convenience.


Diversity Center

Diversity CenterProvides the CWU Community with opportunities to learn about diverse cultures, ethnicities, and people. The programs provide a myriad of resources designed to promote awareness, understanding, and appreciation for human differences as well as commonalities. The programs stress the importance of respect, sensitivity, compassion, and acceptance toward all individuals.


Center for Student Empowerment

Center for Student EmpowermentIt is the mission of the Empowerment Center to create a holistic, student centered, out-of-class learning environment involving intellectual, social, and emotional integration promoting learning involving gender, violence, and non-traditional/commuter student issues. The Center for Student Empowerment will collaborate and involve all members of the university community in this endeavor, continuing to respect and embrace the differences of individuals with regard to gender, race, economic status, sexual orientation, disabilities, and ethnicity.

Publicity Center

The Campus Life Publicity Center offers services in graphic design, advertising and signage for a wide variety of events and activities. We employ a staff of talented, dedicated students and offer a graphic design internship during the summer. We are located in room 272 in the Student Union Building.

Recreation

Recreation CenterRecreation provides you with many activities to help you have fun in Ellensburg. You can go rock climbing, river rafting, weight lifting, camping, hiking and much much more.


Student Union Operations and Scheduling

Student Union Operations and Scheduling ServicesStudent Union Operations and Scheduling offer services in event consultation and facilities scheduling, equipment rental, student union advertising, student union building security, general campus information and ticket sales. Our office provides services for all non-academic events that occur in campus facilities.


Civic Engagement

Civic EngagementThe Civic Engagement Center provides organized volunteer opportunities on and off campus to encourage students to become more involved in the community and their education.
