The capital of Scotland, Edinburgh is located on the misty banks of the Firth of Forth (Forth estuary). The city itself is built atop seven hills with Edinburgh Castle commanding the skyline at the center of the cobbled streets and stone buildings of Old Town. Known for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the Grassmarket, Rose Street, and numerous sites of literary and historical significance, Edinburgh has something to offer almost everyone.
Founded in 1964, Napier has grown to become one of the largest universities in Scotland with a student population of 11,500. The university consists of four campuses located in Edinburgh and linked by free inter-site transport. Ranked one of the two best new universities in the UK by "The Times 1999 Good Guides," Napier prides itself on being a "modern, forward-looking university grounded in a solid tradition as a provider of higher learning." Napier is also known for the close ties it enjoys with local business and industry.
Students will be housed in off-campus accommodation arranged by Napier University. Apartments are self-catering and have kitchen facilities. All accommodation is within easy reach of campus.
