|The Information Technology and Administrative Management (ITAM) Department is awarding a limited number of National Center for Women in Technology (NCWIT) Apprenticeships for 2013-2014.
What is an apprenticeship?
An apprenticeship is an opportunity to develop new skills, with the direction of an expert in the field.
Why Participate in the NCWIT Grant?
--Receive a $600 stipend after completion of the program
--Learn research methods that will help you prepare for future academic and career experiences
--Work with and learn from dedicated faculty one-on-one
--Explore possible career fields
--Must be female or minority student enrolled at CWU
--Freshman or Sophomore status
--Cannot be an ITAM major or Minor
--Participation in 6 meetings (beginning the middle of fall quarter), research project, and presentation at SOURCE in May 2014
