Network Open House Event

The Network Open House is the DON'T MISS event of the year! It's one of your best opportunities to get a foot in the door with many employers!

When is the Network Open House?
The Network Open House occurs every Fall, usually in October. This year it is Friday, October 9, 2009 6pm-9pm. Download registration form.

Why should I attend?
Most of the best jobs are found through connections. This means networking! Invitations are sent to local employers and professionals from a variety of businesses. Those attending are coming to see YOU! In addition, the SSA mails a Resume Book to all the employers that are attending the event.

What if I'm not graduating until next year?
This event is perfect for you in particular. It's never too soon to develop professional relationships and receive useful advice for planning your career. You will find many of the attendees are CWU graduates who have been in your place and have suggestions for you.

Do I have to submit a resume?
No, however it would be a benefit for you to do so. The SSA mails the Resume Book to the employers before the event so they have a chance to look at them before attending. Your resume may catch the eye of an employer before you even get there! In order for us to get the books printed and mailed out to the employers before the event there will be a submission deadline for the resume book that will be strictly adhered to.
