Benefits of SSA membership include:

  • Monthly General Meetings - come to general meetings to learn about many subjects like internships, interviewing, resume writing, and the various certifications available for accountants

  • Recruiting - seniors graduating from December to August are informed of recruiting events starting Spring quarter. Information about internships also available

  • Network Open House (members received reduced rate) - an opportunity for students to meet local professionals in a social atmosphere

  • Career Days (members only) - visit local firms to learn about different companies and fields of accounting

  • CPA Review Course (members only) - Becker and RIGOS representatives visit to help you decide which course is best for you

  • Parties - end each quarter by hanging out with other students (free food & drinks)
