Goals & Objectives

Students will improve their skills in writing using special hardware and software tools.
Since keyboarding is the gatekeeper to writing with a computer, students will increase their proficiency in keyboarding to reduce the difficulty of putting their written work on paper. For those students who find even keyboarding impossible, they will be taught to use voice recognition technology for their writing accommodation.
Students will improve academic performance in classes dependent on reading and writing.
Students will demonstrate an improved attitude toward reading and writing.
Students will improve their technology skills through the use of computer hardware and software.
Students will improve their communication skills through mentoring others in the use of technology.
Students will gain greater access to the Internet for research purposes.
