- Grant Project Challenges
Teachers also discussed the challenges of integrating technology into their teaching. The primary challenge was the frustration they experienced when the technology did not work properly or broke (n = 7).- "The challenge is when it doesn’t work and knowing what to do about it. I really love to walk in and just use it. When it doesn’t work I am not very clever about getting it to work again. I just jiggle cords. I don’t feel inspired to go problem solve. Others are really in to figuring things out and I feel when I do call to get help the helping person is over my head."
- "My biggest hardship was not having the equipment stationary so classroom setup was really hard. I spent a lot of time in the morning and set it up because the custodian would move things. Now when I want to use things I have to borrow the cords and it doesn’t always work the right way."
