Need 1 student to work 19 hours per week.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Duties include: routine lab duties, washing glassware, stocking
chemicals and equipment; checking our lab equipment to students;
preparing materials and apparatus for student labs; delivering
equipment to other departments; running errands such as making
purchases for supplies at local stores; taking inventory of stockroom;
filing and data entry.
Minimum Qualifications / Skills Needed:
Dependability and punctuality a must; ability to follow instructions;
good verbal communication skills; good people skills; general science
background; chemistry experience preferred; some physical work
required.
Why do you need this position?
The workload of the science tech (preparing reagents, developing labs)
is such that student help is needed to perform the simpler more
routine tasks.
