| Requirements:

- African-Americans, Hispanics/Latinos, or American Indians
- U.S. citizens or permanent residents of the U.S
- High school seniors, college freshmen, sophomores, or juniors intending to, or already majoring in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, or a chemically-related science and planning a career in the chemical sciences or chemical technology
- Full-time students
- High academic achievers in chemistry or science (GPA: 3.0 or better)
- Able to demonstrate financial need according to the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
