When Central Washington University has an event or a meeting in the SURC they turn to ESS. Event Support Services is just what its name implies. We provide technical and customer support for meetings and events on and off campus that utilize audio visual services. No matter what type of an event you are having, ESS can help.

We offer rentals of the latest in audiovisual technology and set up of the equipment. ESS works with the Scheduling Center to insure that our clients not only get what they want, but what they need to insure a successful event.

Event Support Services at Central Washington University provides clients with superior, competitively priced equipment and service packages. Through our rental program, you will not only discover the many benefits of renting, but at the same time build upon a relationship that promises to match your needs every step of the way.

Services include: sound, lighting, and audio/video equipment rentals; technical assistance and consulting; event planning and coordinating; conference support; production and event management.

COST EFFECTIVE: Low, competitive rates based on daily usage, avoiding costly shipping and transportation costs. Discounts and package rates available for additional savings. Excellent cost saver for annual or one-time events, because you can now rent instead of purchasing new equipment.

EASY ACCOUNTING: One bill for all rentals and services, making accounting simple.

FLEXIBILITY: Through easy booking and reservations, to no-hassle equipment setup and removal.

SENSE OF SECURITY: Technician always on hand, or available for technical issues, guaranteeing a successful event or program.

TOTAL SOLUTION: You can rent equipment by set packages or have a custom equipment package designed to best suit your program/ event needs, as well as have event support and all the production services provided in one easy rental agreement.

• Equipment is priced for pickup at Central Washington University Student Union and Recreation Center Event Support Services (ESS). Delivery charges are additional.
• Customers are responsible for all rental charges from the time equipment leaves ESS until it is returned.
• Large package rentals may qualify for an additional discount.
• Many rentals require three to four weeks lead time to guarantee availability.
• ESS will make every effort to accommodate changes in the services you hire, schedule permitting, and subject to availability of resources.
• No Deposits or down payments are required from University affiliated groups; however non-affiliated groups may be subject to down payments based upon total rental costs. New accounts may also be subject to down payments.
