This military conditioning course is constructed to provide you with military fitness training used in today's Army. The course will primarily be workout oriented with emphasis on physical fitness goals and demonstrated abilities to lead physical training activities.

Content

This is a one credit hour course. Primary objective of this course is to improve the five components of fitness: cardio respiratory endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, and body composition. The activities are: running, sports, upper body strength exercises, and circuit training.

Schedule

Classes will meet from 0700 hours to 0800 hours on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Training schedule is attached.

Grades will be based upon one of the following grading options:

  • Credit/No Credit (CR/NC)

Grades will be awarded on the following standards:

  • A - No unexcused absences and superb progress as judged by the instructor on the APFT.
