MOVERS AND SHAKERS: FALL QUARTER 2008 INFORMATION

The Housing Office would like to invite you, as a special member of our Wildcat student population, to become an official "Mover and Shaker" for fall quarter 2008 opening day, September 19, 2008. When you first arrived at CWU as a new student, "Movers and Shakers" were at the residence halls ready to assist freshmen (and their parents) with moving into the residence halls. Our "Movers and Shakers" find being part of this tradition on opening day a fun, exciting and rewarding experience.

I hope you will consider volunteering two hours or more of your time to be a "Mover and Shaker" this year. We will have plenty of assigned times available between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM; if you have lots of energy and enthusiasm, you are welcome to be with us the whole day.

As a "Mover and Shaker" living on campus, you would be allowed to move into your assigned residence hall (by appointsment only), on Thursday, September 18, 2008. (Returning students' move in day is Sunday, September 21, 2008.)

If you want to become a "Mover and Shaker" please fill out the form on the back and the volunteer form and return the forms to University Housing, 400 E. University Way, Ellensburg, WA 98926-7513, by August 22, 2008.

Residence Hall check in for Movers and Shaker will be the 18th of September, between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM.

There will be a group meeting on Thursday, September 18, 2008, at 5:00 PM, that you will need to attend for
assignments and to pick up your t-shirt at the Barto Lounge.
If you do not register at one of the check in stations on Friday you will be charged for 1 day early arrival on Thursday.
