Seattle Symphony Concert Sold Out At CWU

ELLENSBURG, Wash. - Central Washington University's presentation of the Seattle Symphony on Wednesday, Oct. 13, at 7:30 p.m., is sold out. The concert is one of the "Inaugural Season Showcase Performances" that will be held through the 2004-05 academic year in the university's new $29 million music education building.

Future "Inaugural Season Showcase Performances" will include:

• Oct. 10, 2004 - Faculty Showcase Concert, 4 p.m.;
• Oct. 17, 2004 - Alumni Showcase Concert, 4 p.m.;
• Nov. 14, 2004 - Faculty Chamber Series "One" (Solo Performances), 4 p.m.;
• Jan. 9, 2005 - Faculty Chamber Series "Two" (Duet Performances), 4 p.m.;
• Feb. 25, 2005 - Chanticleer, 7 p.m.;
• April 10, 2005 - Faculty Chamber Series "Three" (Trio Performances), 7 p.m.; and,
• April 23, 2005 - Seattle Women's Chorus with "Captain Smartypants" (Seattle Men's Chorus Troupe), 7 p.m.

The Seattle Symphony's CWU performance and all inaugural season events are sponsored by Cave B Estate Winery, Puget Sound Energy, Lydig Construction, Coca Cola and the associated students of Central Washington University (ASCWU) board of directors.
