Alaska Air Group Executive To Address CWU

ELLENSBURG, Wash.-- Brad Tilden, the executive vice president/finance and chief financial officer for Alaska Air Group and Alaska Airlines, will visit Central Washington University Wednesday, May 19. He will discuss aviation-related finance issues, including financing of aircraft, during an address in Hebeler 121. It's slated for 7 p.m.

Tilden is responsible for the company's accounting, finance, human resources and information technology functions. Since 1991, he has also served as Alaska's vice president/finance and chief financial officer, and controller.

Before joining Alaska, Tilden spent eight years with the accounting firm Price Waterhouse, including six years in Seattle and two years in Melbourne, Australia.

He has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Pacific Lutheran University and an executive master of business administration (MBA) degree from the University of Washington. He also has a private pilot's license. Tilden lives in Issaquah with his wife and three daughters.
